    Great Falls Friends and Neighbors' annual White House Ornament sale in 2016 raised $6,600 for Artemis House!  The check was presented to the charity at GFFN's February club meeting.  The Connection's online article can be read here:

    A big thank you to everyone that helped make the Bridge Jamboree a huge success!

    Congratulations! We earned over $5000 for the Great Falls Friends & Neighbors Scholarship Fund!

    In addition, the GFFN Philanthropy Committee sold more than 40 White House ornaments that day.  The profit from the sale of these ornaments will go to Artemis House, the Northern Virginia Shelter for Abused Women & their children.  If you would like to purchase more of these charming lighted Christmas Trees, contact Maria Volpe (703406-8494 or

    Your Jamboree checks will be being deposited soon – when Scholarship Fund Treasurer, Jan Lane, returns to town.  And those of you who made donations will also be receiving a formal thank you & tax receipt.
